Standing 6’5” and a slender 180 lbs, Jeff Donovan used to his golden right arm to lead to a storied athletic career. An excellent basketball player, Jeff was a member of two Conference Championship teams (2005 and 2006). Between football and baseball, it is a toss up as to which sport was Jeff’s best. In football, Jeff lettered three times, was an All Conference and All Area Quarterback in 2004 and 2005. He earned All State Honorable Mention as a junior and 1st Team All State as a Senior and was named to the WFCA All Star squad. Jeff is the most prolific passer in Tosa East history throwing for 3834 yards and 38 TD’s during his career. On the baseball diamond, Donovan earned four varsity letters and helped lead Tosa East to a Conference Championship in 2003. Jeff was named All Conference in 2005 and in 2006 he was All Conference, Conference Player of the Year, Journal Sentinel Player of the Year and the WBCA State Player of the Year. Jeff was the Tosa East Athlete of the Year in 2005 and 2006. Jeff went on to UW-Whitewater where he quarterbacked the Warhawks to a National Championship and was named the WIAC Conference Player of the Year and All American Honorable Mention his senior year. In baseball, as a senior he 9-0 as a pitcher and batted .401 leading to him being named 3rd Team All American as both a Utility Player and as a Pitcher.
