Another member of the outstanding 1972 class, Dennis McBride earned varsity letters in 4 sports. Dennis was captain of the of the baseball team in 1972 and earned 2nd team All Conference. He was also captain of the Cross Country team also earning All Conference. On the track, McBride was an excellent miler winning Conference, Regional and Sectional Championships in 1972 and qualifying for State. He also was a member of the 1972 4 Mile Relay Conference Champs. Dennis was a member of the track State Champions, the first for Tosa East. Dennis went on to play baseball and run cross country and track at UW-Milwaukee achieving MVP honors for cross country in 1973, 74 and 75 and in track in 1976. McBride was inducted into the UWM Hall of Fame in 1986.
