Katie Salmon’s versatility shone through as she achieved twelve “W” letters during her four years as a Red Raider. She excelled in basketball (four letters), soccer (four letters), cross-country (three letters) and volleyball (one letter), showcasing her adaptability and multi-talented nature. When she took command of the basketball court, there was a 50% chance she would score. Katie, a true leader, ranks first in all-time scoring percentages at 49.4% and second all-time scoring with 1,106 points. In addition to her offensive dominance, Katie played both ends of the court tenaciously and ranks sixth all-time in rebounding. During her four years, she also achieved All-Conference honors and served as co-captain of the team; her influence was felt by the entire team and coaches. Katie’s exceptional ability was not limited to basketball. She was also a standout soccer player, earning All-Conference honors during her senior year with her masterful footwork and skillful passing. During Katie’s senior year, she played a vital role on the Girl’s Volleyball team, where she also lettered. Katie left an indelible legacy behind following her four years at Tosa East with records that will remain in the record books for years to come.
