The Tosa East girls basketball record book is riddled with the name Annie Madden. Annie was an outstanding athlete at Tosa East where she was a two time letter winner in soccer and a member of the 1998 and 1999 State Runnerup teams. She was a three-time letter winner in cross country and a state qualifier in 1996. But it was in basketball where Annie made her name. As a four time letter winner, the 5’10” Madden left her mark on the record books. She currently is first in 3 Point Field Goals and Assists, second in Free Throw Percentage, third in Steals and fourth in Total Points. Annie would earn All Conference, All Suburban, All State Honorable Mention and Conference Player of the Year her senior year. She also received the Tosa East Athlete of the Year recognition. Annie went on to play four years at Michigan Tech and later returned to Tosa East and served as an Assistant Basketball Coach from 2003-2008.
