Jerry Toubl

Jerry Toubl (coached 1981-2007) was an incredible coach, mentor, and friend to Red Raiders baseball. Over the course of his 27-year career at Tosa East, Toubl’s team won the sectional championship three times, the regional championship nine times, the conference championship four times, and the state championship once. He was voted Conference Coach of the Year three times and Area Coach of the Year twice. 114 of the players he coached earned All-Conference honors, 19 of his players were selected for All-Star Classic teams, and three of his players went on to be drafted by the MLB. Toubl was not only a phenomenal coach, but also an incredible mentor and supporter of the Tosa East baseball program. Toubl’s dedication to his players’ success was evidenced by his use of personal funds to purchase bats, uniforms, and other equipment for his athletes when school funds weren’t available. For his achievements and contributions, Toubl was inducted into the Wisconsin Coaches Baseball Association and the Old Timer Ballplayers of Wisconsin Hall of Fame in 2003.
