Nicole Carr

A feared outside hitter, the 6’0” Carr would letter in Volleyball all four years of high school. She was a member of the 1998 State Semifinalist , 1999 State Quarterfinalist, and the 2000 Conference and Conference Tournament Championship teams. The 2000 squad would go on to beat the No. 1 ranked team in the state on the way to a final four finish. As a sophomore, Nicole was named 2nd team All Conference and All State Honorable Mention. In both her junior and senior seasons, she was named All Conference, All Area, and 1st Team All State as well as the Conference Player of the Year and the Area Player of the Year. Her senior year saw her honored as a 1st Team All American. Nicole also excelled in basketball where she was a three-time letter winner. Not surprisingly, Nicole was named the Tosa East Athlete of the Year. Nicole accepted a scholarship to the University of Colorado where she would be a four year starter and one of the best all-around hitters in Colorado history.
